Double Exit

Where are all the IPOs?

Following on from the recent Real World Reads post on the Ardagh Group IPO, I came across a nice small article from fora.ie (or thejournal.ie) about the lack of IPOs on the Irish stock exchange last year. This dry spell also comes on the back of a number of high profile delistings from the ISEQ in recent years (e.g. Greencore, Grafton, CRH, DCC) to move to a London listing (see here for more on this). To counteract this, there is now a new ‘IPO Ready’ programme established by the Irish Stock Exchange to help prepare the next generation of companies for a stock exchange listing in the future.

It is a useful read for those interested in the topic and you should also take a look at PWC UK’s IPO watch publications which reviews all IPOs across Europe (US version available also) on a quarterly basis.
